This is one of the most fun movies I have seen in a very long time! You thought the first Die Hard movie was your favorite? Well think again! Yes given, some of this movie is a little over the top but it is so well done it really doesn’t matter! Bruce Willis reprises the role of John McClane so flawlessly you would hardly know that 12 years has gone by since the last Die Hard installment in 1995. The movie begins on the Fourth of July weekend, McClane is assigned to bring in a young hacker, Matt Farrell (Justin Long) for questioning by the FBI, but this ordinary assignment turns extraordinary when he finds out this young man’s life is in jeopardy by a group of terrorists who Farrell has written a computer code for, these very same people are behind the following attacks on the United States infrastructure which begins to shut down roads, transport and communication of any kind over the entire nation. Thomas Gabriel (Timothy Olyphant) is the brains behind this clever and devastating attack, he has prepared for every angle but he never figured on the one and only John McClane. With McClane and Farrell working together they slowly begin to understand what is happening and are trying to find a way to stop the devious plan known to uber-geeks as a “fire sale”. This movie possesses all the ingenious humor of the first three Die Hard movies and takes the action, suspense and over all entertainment to whole new level. This film is enjoyable for everyone and is available in MoPix which I highly recommend so you don’t miss a moment of the action. Well played Mr. Willis… well played…
